FAQ
What happens if a few people raid me back to back?
Twitch only lets you send one shoutout every two minutes. If another raid comes in before you're allowed to send the next one (two minutes, or your minimum time between shoutouts if that's longer), that raider's shoutout will be queued up. Everyone in the queue will receive their shoutout in the order in which they raided you.
Why didn't someone get a shoutout?
The Activity list above says why for each raid. The usual reasons are:
- The raid was smaller than your minimum raid size.
- Shoutouts were paused when they raided.
- You already shouted them out in the last hour. Twitch only allows one shoutout to the same channel per hour.
- You weren't live. Twitch only allows shoutouts while you're streaming.
Can I stop a channel from raiding me?
Yes. Block them on Twitch and they won't be able to raid you at all. You can also choose who's allowed to raid you in your Twitch raid settings.
How do I permanently remove this?
Remove the "Flyback LiveTools - Auto Raid Shoutout" entry from your Twitch connections page. That stops the automatic shoutouts and deletes your settings here. (Signing out here only signs you out of this page.)
Can I still manually shout people out?
Yes, absolutely - if you or your moderators shout someone out manually before the tool has, an automatic shoutout for that user will be suppressed. Manual shoutouts also count toward Twitch's two-minute limit, so anyone waiting in the queue will be shouted out a little later.
